Sorry I'm a little late getting into all this and woundup delleting many of hte listsev emails in response to the name change. Were there any responses voicing support from LIS staff? I didn't see any on the meeting log but maybe they just didn't make it on the record. If I knew these people were supportive of this change I might feel better about it. I somehow feel I would trust their opinion and that they'd have the dept's best interest at heart when voting.
